Samantha has been selected to research, learn, and collaborate for global good in the Antarctic.

When you submit an Antarctic question through @SamanthaElieBotanist Linktree or during an event it will become part of a collection answered by Samantha’s peers, non-binary and women leaders in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine.

Answered questions are to be published alongside paintings done by Samantha while in Antarctica.

This project lives at the intersection of art, citizen science, and climate activism.

It aims to draw community together around common curiosity and concern for our planet. This project’s goal is to bring citizen science to the Antarctic — and back!

Project Phases

Phase 1: Get curious and ask questions by November 10th, 2023.

Phase 2: Select questions are answered by leaders in science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine while the cohort is in the Antarctic.

Phase 3: Once back on land, questions and answers will be combined with Antarctic art by Samantha and designed into a book that both quenches your knowledge thirst and keeps you curious.
